  • Full Design Ownership: Led hardware engineering teams responsible for schematic capture, PCB stack-up definition, component placement, routing guidance, power-on test plans, debug procedures, and high-volume manufacturing readiness.
  • Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Led collaboration with signal integrity, power delivery, mechanical, manufacturing, environmental, software, and firmware engineers.

3. High-Speed Interface & Validation Expertise

  • High-Speed Interfaces: Delivered USB Type-C prototype hardware, Thunderbolt subsystem integration, and wireless module designs (WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS).

The role requires 10+ years of experience (with an MS) and at least 2 years of direct SI management.

  • Education: Holds an MS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Career Tenure: 22+ years of progressive engineering experience at a global semiconductor leader, advancing from rotation engineer to hardware engineer to senior hardware engineer to engineering manager.
  • Management Experience: 6+ years in an engineering management role overseeing data center platform hardware design.
  • Early Career Foundation: Circuit-level design background including pipelined ADC design and component-level specification analysis.

Technical Focus: SI/PI, PDN, High-Speed I/O Led teams collaborating with SI and power delivery engineers; delivered data center CPU baseboards and high-speed interfaces (USB-C, Thunderbolt).
Tooling: HFSS, SIwave, ADS, Allegro Extensive PCB design and validation experience; proficient with oscilloscopes, vector signal analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers.
Experience: 10+ years (with MS) Over 22 years of progressive hardware engineering and leadership experience.
